| Combustion Inspections are carried out every 12000hrs service. Turbine casing is removed for all combustion components to be inspected. Hot Gas Path inspections are carried out every 24000hrs service. All combustion components including; turbine blades, nozzle sections, shroud blocks, transition pieces and combustion liners are all inspected and changed out, alignment checks are also carried out. |  |
| Generator overhauls are usually undertaken in conjunction with turbine major inspections. Rotor is removed from stator, balance rings and exciter are removed for inspection, cleaning and crack testing. Cleaning and testing of the stator and windings are also carried out to ensure no further work is required. |  |
