Heavy Duty Turbine Overhauls
GTO has vast experince carrying out overhauls and inspections of heavy duty gas turbines. GE Frame turbines, Mitsubishi heavy duty turbines and Alstom heavy duty turbines. We have a highly skilled and experienced team of technicians who are able to execute outages to the highest standard of safety and quality, from overhaul to alignment.
Generator Overhauls
GTO is well versed with generator rotor removal, major and minor inspection, rail system design and fabrication, inspections and dry ice blasting capabilities. We have experience with Brush, GEC Alstom, Hitachi, Toshiba, GE and Mitsubishi, among others. We ensure the safety of people, assets and environment.
Drafting and Design
GTO provides drafting and design services to suit the specialised requirements of the rotating turbo equipment industry. With a background in feild service we can design generator rail systems, specialised tooling and jigs to suit client needs.
Project Management
GTO can execute your project including planning, mobilising and overseeing 3rd party contractors. Developing schedules and tracking time and costs during outages.
Balance of Plant
GTO cover all aspects of power station maintenance including gearboxes, accessory and load, pumps, motor changes, cooling systems, compressors, gas and air, filter changes, couplings, laser alignments, valve change outs and all ancillary systems.
Lift and Shift
GTO brings it's own lifting team and 20T Franna mobile crane on request to streamline outages and reduce downtime on lifting operations. Our team of skilled operators and riggers have the experience and knowledge to perform the complex and critical lifts involved in turbine and generator maintenance.
Heavy Load Skating
GTO has capapbilties and equipment for heavy load skating for items such as transformers, gearboxes, motors or complete generator assembly exchanges. Including design and manufacture of rail systems to minimise dismantle of assosiated infrastructure.
